SUMMARY

An appraisal has been undertaken to establish the parameters relating to the environment which are present at the Site, namely landscape, visual amenity, ecology, archaeology and cultural heritage, agricultural resources, flood risk, surface water drainage, noise and ground conditions. It is recognised that all of these environmental aspects require careful attention in developing a design for

development at the Site.

The evidence obtained to date demonstrates that Land at Grove End Farm, Whitminster can successfully be allocated as a strategic location for growth comprising a mixed use development.

Further survey and assessment work is currently being undertaken to inform the development proposals looking at matters including transport, noise, air quality, landscape, ecology and heritage.
